Participants can find the location of their session in the official program, available on the website in PDF format. All presenters are kindly asked to plan their talks to last for 15 minutes to give time for questions and facilitate switching between sessions (additional 5 minutes). As a presenter, you should arrive at the location of your session at least 5 minutes before the start time. Once there, contact the chair so you have time to set up your presentation on the room computer, to which presentations should be copied from your source (USB stick, e-mail).
Session chairs must ensure that their sessions start and end on time and that presentations are made according to the official program. If a presenter does not show up, please keep to the original schedule to facilitate session jumping. If the session chair is absent, the first presenter in the session will replace him/her. Session chairs must check that all presentations are correctly set up on the computer before the beginning of the session. Additionally, the chair needs to alert presenters when their allotted presentation time is about to expire (5 minutes and 1 minute). Session chairs are required to note who presented on the attendance sheets provided in the room.
Equipment in all session rooms at KOI 2024 includes a projector and a desktop computer. We recommend that speakers bring their presentations on a USB drive and use the desktop provided in the room.
