Call for papers
International Conference on Operational Research (KOI) brings together scientists and academics as well as practitioners from various aspects of OR with the aim of establishing contacts network, presenting research ideas and sharing the most valuable experiences.
The conference is organized by Croatian Operational Research Society (CRORS) in cooperation with Faculty of Economics Business and Tourism, University of Split, as co-organizer.
The conference KOI 2022 will be held on September 28-30, 2022.
Conference is focused but not limited to the various disciplines and topics which are grouped in following main sections:
- Mathematical Programming
- Applied Statistics and Econometrics
- Multicriteria Decision Making
- Machine Learning and Data Mining
- Behavioral Operational Research
- Optimization in Human Environment
KOI 2022 conference offers twelve Special Session topics:

CRORS/SOR members 180 EUR
Non-members 280 EUR
Accompanying person (not the author/co-author) or student (author/co-author) 130 EUR
The conference KOI 2022 will take place at Amadria Park (Ex Solaris) close to the city of Šibenik, Croatia.

June 15 – submission of abstracts
July 1 – submission of abstracts
July 4 – notification of acceptance
September 1 – registration & fee payment
Call for papers
Accepted abstracts by the Program Committee which are presented at the conference will be published at the KOI Book of Abstracts (print version only). After the conference, authors are welcome to submit full papers, whenever is convenient, for possible publication in the Croatian Operational Research Review (CRORR journal) indexed in ESCI (source of WoS Core Collection), SCOPUS and other relevant scientific citation bases.
Full papers should be submitted online by Open Journal System here.
Submitted manuscripts are blindly review by two independent reviewers and checked for plagiarism to detect instances of overlapping and similar text. If the manuscript is accepted for publication, the corresponding author will be asked to submit proofreading confirmation along with signed copyright form.
The final version of the manuscript should be written in LaTeX format regardless of the initial form submission (LaTeX or Word).
There is no submission fee or publishing fee for accepted papers in this journal.
