A day before the conference, the EURO Council Meeting was held, at which the national representatives discussed past and future EURO activities. Around 2200 participants presented their papers or posters at the conference. Publisher such as Elsevier, Springer had their booths with the samples of journals and books. Also, the meeting with EURO research group „OR/MS in Education“ was led by Ana Paula Teixeira from Portugal. HDOI agreed to participate this survey, and that the results of this survey will be presented at KOI 2016 conference. Nine Croatian researchers HDOI participated the EURO 2015 conference, five of them were HDOI members. Our members Tunjo Perić, Goran Lešaja and Tihomir Hunjak were chairs of sections, while Marijana Zekić-Sušac participated as an author and as an offical representative of HDOI at EURO Council Meeting.

See the new issue of the CRORR Journal: Volume 6, Number 2, published in October 2015.
This issue brings 16 original scientific papers in the area of operational research and related areas: statistics, applied mathematics, simulations, data mining and machine learning. Full-text of all published issues is available online at Published Volumes. The journal is already indexed in some databases (see Abstracting and Indexing menu) and is submitted for indexing in WoS and Scopus databases. We have also launched the new web page of the CRORR journal.

In this new issue you can see info about EURO 2015 conference held in July 2015 in Glasgow and 10th APORS 2015 conference which took place last August 2 to 6 at the Imperial Hotel in the city of Kuching, Sarawak in Malaysia with the theme OR and the Environment. Moreover, there are news about ICORD 2015 conference which will be held in December 2015 in Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Engineering, University of Moratuwa. On June 29, 2015 CRORS held its regular annual meeting (22nd) at the Faculty of Economics and Business – Zagreb, at 3 p.m. A number of decisions were made at the meeting, such as the adoption of new Statute of the society, organizing KOI 2016, Plan of actions for 2016, and other decisions. Immediately before the annual meeting, the CRORS organized the workshop “Neural networks for prediction and classification” also at the Faculty of Economics and Business – Zagreb. We thank all our members who participated in those events.
On June 29, 2015, CRORS organized the Workshop “Neural networks for prediction and classification” given by professor Marijana Zekic-Susac and Adela Has from Faculty of Economics Osijek. The workshop was held at Faculty of Economics and Business – Zagreb, and was open with no fee to all interested researchers and practitioners. 19 CRORS member attended the workshop. We are glad to announce that the official magazine of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies – IFORS News published an article about 15 th International Conference on Operational Research KOI 2014, Osijek, Croatia. EURO 2015 is organised by the European Association of Operational Research Societies (EURO) and will be hosted at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow from 12 to 15 July, 2015.
The conference will host streams from all branches of ORMS, alongside keynotes and plenaries from leading international thinkers and tutorials on emerging areas of interest. Moreover, it will include presentations and discussions that will have a particular focus on the practice of O.R.
