In 2023, we signed an agreement with Croatian Statistical Association (CSA) with the aim of promoting and developing operational research as a scientific and professional field. The aforementioned goal is planned to be achieved through cooperation in the organization of conferences, seminars, workshops and other activities related to the exchange of research results and education in the field of operational research.
CSA was established in the Croatia in 2005. CSA is committed to ensuring the quality of statistical education, the public’s perception of statistics, and recognizing the importance of statistics in guiding economic policy for the benefit of the community. The society’s goal is to continuously improve statistical literacy at all levels of society while also contributing to the comprehensive development and promotion of official statistics. The Croatian Statistical Society organizes the International Statistical Conference in Croatia (ISCCRO), which brings together statisticians, econometricians, and data scientists to discuss current trends, research, and applications in these fields.
The 5th International Statistical Conference in Croatia (ISCCRO ’24) will be held in Opatija, Croatia, from April 24 to April 26, 2024.
